Health eVillages, translated to “heal the villages”, collaborates to advance health care access and improve the quality of care in the most challenging clinical environments around the world. The organization was established in 2011 by Donato Tramuto and they felt their brand needed an update including their brand story, messaging and visual identity. We first began by interviewing people close to the organization, listening to how they describe the brand. Then we begin crafting taglines, logo concepts, visual elements then moved to executing the complete brand expression.
The final logo mark used the previous design as inspiration and we simplified it. It was designed to be a standalone symbol…but we also intended it to be interpreted as 4 people holding hands creating a community. The lined graphics were developed to infuse motion, incorporate color, diversity and used to naturally separate layout elements.
